The art manifestation My name is Spinoza, held in May, June and September 2009, offers artists, art and cultural institutions and members of the public a platform for a lively exploration of Spinoza’s thinking and the subjects of his writing. Embedded within a cohesive framework, Spinoza’s ideas articulate concepts such as truth, god, the natural world, law, virtue, freedom, reason, happiness and sadness, and are no less relevant today.
